Conferences, gala dinners, associations, business milestones

We’ve hosted corporate gatherings here for more than 20 years. Our waterfront setting on the edge of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel is the perfect backdrop for creating a meaningful and immersive Tasmanian experience.

An event with us goes beyond food and beverages. We work with you to create a tailored occasion that inspires teams and brings them together.

Imagine an elegant gala dinner punctuated with the best food and wine Tasmania has to offer; an outdoor festival with local lamb grilled over our woodfired asado; Tasmanian seafood paella cooked in front of your guests; or a low-key networking event with afternoon tea and team building on the lawn.

Accommodating groups of 10-300, our team handles every detail and is dedicated to designing a truly Tasmanian event that leaves a lasting, personal impression.

Whether it’s from just up the road, across the bay or grown right here in our garden, we feature the best seasonal Tasmanian produce we can lay our hands on. Our menus are complemented by curated local wine, beer and cider pairings, with soft drinks, tea and coffee throughout. For an extra special touch, chat to us about creating custom cocktails.

Activities

We collaborate with local producers from across the island, who generously share their stories – helping you to connect with each other and with Tasmania.

On the water… our luxury catamaran holds up to 160 passengers, immersing guests in Tasmania’s southern coastline before they even arrive on site. Cruise the River Derwent into the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, spotting local landmarks and wildlife. Taste oysters at Fleurty’s Point, meters from where they are harvested. Watch the sunset overlooking the iconic Bruny Island with a glass of Tasmanian sparkling in hand.

On the land… a Welcome to Country delivered by a Traditional Owner or Elder, take a stroll through our grounds, play lawn games under our 200-year oak tree, relax with a guided yoga session or soak up the scenery accompanied by live musicians or guest speakers.

Around the corner… we love working with our southern neighbours. Explore the Art Farm at Birchs Bay, get creative at Lisa Kingston’s flower farm, taste premium wines with a view at Mewstone, indulge with Kenyak Chocolate or uncover the wonders of sheep whey at Grandvewe.
