The Vessel
Peppermint Bay II is a sleek, 22 metre, high speed catamaran, licensed to carry up to 150 passengers. Locally built by shipbuilders Richardson and Devine, the vessel was launched in 2005.
Peppermint Bay II has been purpose built for the Peppermint Bay Cruise, designed for maximum passenger comfort and visibility. With extensive outer deck space and expansive floor to ceiling glass windows and atrium on the main deck for unsurpassed views. The Captains’ Upper Deck features an exclusive Portuguese Viewing Deck and first class leather seating.
Flat screen plasma televisions beam back images from under the water via our unique spy ball cameras, allowing passengers to see the abundance of sea life in our clear, calm waters.
The vessel is warm, luxurious and fast, delivering a unique and comfortable way to explore the real Tasmania.
